DCW 282 F1W Dual Output

The DCW 282-F1W Series is a recent addition to ABSOPULSE’s line of dual output, convection cooled dc-dc converters. The design uses high efficiency power conversion topology to deliver up to 280W output power. The unit has two fully independent regulated and isolated outputs, each providing any voltage between of 5V and 125Vdc.

This design eliminates optocouplers in the feedback loop, which contributes to an MTBF of over 175,000 hours at 45°C. Very low component count, large design headroom, and full electronic protection also contribute to the long operating life of the units.

This design encompasses electrical and mechanical features that contribute to an operating life of up to 20 years. The units are suitable for heavy-duty industrial applications where fan cooling is not permitted and in which the replacement or repair of electronic equipment is logistically difficult or costly.
