ABSOPULSE Electronics’ new heavy-duty fan filters prevent dust, dirt and other airborne contaminants from being drawn into power supply systems by their internal fans. These fan filters attach to and cover the entire surface of the fan side of the power supply chassis, causing minimal impedance to the flow of air through the internal cooling fans.
This solution resolves a common challenge for fan cooled electronic equipment operating in harsh industrial environments. In the absence of appropriate fan filters, dust, metallic dust, and other airborne contaminants accumulate on electronic circuits boards, leading to overheating, reduced efficiency, and ultimately, unit failure. Dust and contaminants also accumulate on the fan blades and motor, reducing their efficiency. ABSOPULSE custom fan filters prevent these problems.

The fan filters are available for our 3U4, 3U7 and 6U7/19 (2X3U7/19) size chassis. We will be adding to this selection.
The filters are factory installed. They are made from pleated material with high dust and particle holding capacity.
Our fan filters are easy to service. They may be vacuum cleaned several times before it becomes necessary to replace them completely. The extent of filter contamination is clearly visible on the front of the filter.
ABSOPULSE fan filters are more effective than small foam filters that attach to each fan separately, limit airflow, and are prone to becoming saturated with dust and airborne particulate quickly.
