High voltage DC-AC sine wave inverters accept wide input ranges of 450V to 800Vdc. High frequency PWM technology enables high efficiency, compact construction and low weight.

ABSOPULSE has recently added the CSH 500-F6 to its line of high input voltage DC-AC sine wave inverters. The units use microprocessor controlled, high frequency PWM technology to deliver 500VA pure sinewave output voltage. Other designs in this series include the CSH 300-F6 (300VA) and CSH 400-F6 (400VA). The inverters convert 600Vdc industrial input voltage (450V to 800Vdc range) to an isolated sine wave output of 115Vac continuous at 60Hz or 400Hz, or 230Vac continuous at 50Hz.

The high input voltage DC-AC sine wave inverters are designed for industrial applications that require clean sine wave AC-output voltage. They are suitable for operation in industrial automation and control, transportation, power plants and electrical utilities.

High frequency conversion enables high efficiency, a compact construction of 210 x 65 x 349 mm, and low weight. The inverters are cooled by conduction via base-plate and by natural convection through the cooling slots and require no fans. Most heat generating components are installed on aluminum heatsink blocks which are thermally connected to the base plate. This also ensures exceptional mechanical ruggedness. The internal boards are conformal coated to provide protection against humidity and airborne contaminants. The units are typically chassis mounted.

The input and output are filtered for low noise. The input meets EN55032 Class A with wide margins. Class B available on request. This ensures that the inverters can be used in EMI sensitive environments without additional filtering. An optional output-fail alarm (Form C) is available. The units are designed for compliance with C22.2 No. 107.1 – 01, UL 458 and EN/EN62368-1 standards. Electronic protection includes input surge clamping, overload and short circuit protection, as well as thermal shutdown with automatic recovery. Large design headroom and the exclusive use of components with established reliability contribute to a high MTBF.
