The FC 100-F2 AC-AC frequency converters are designed for rugged industrial applications that require universal AC-input voltage and up to 100VA pure sine wave output voltage.
The AC-AC frequency converters convert a universal 95V-264Vac input to 115Vac continuous at 60Hz or 400Hz, or 230Vac continuous at 50Hz. A high DC-input voltage version of this design accepts 120Vdc to 350Vdc.
The units utilize field proven, microprocessor-controlled FCF 100 technology to generate the required output power with pure sine wave output voltage. The AC-DC input stage boosts the input voltage to a higher DC bus voltage, which feeds the DC-AC inverter to generate the required AC output. High frequency PWM technology enables compact construction, low weight and high efficiency.
Electronic protection includes 4300Vdc input to output isolation, over-voltage and short circuit protection with thermal shutdown and self-resetting. The system is filtered to meet EN55032 Class A conducted and radiated requirements with wide margins. It complies with EN62368-1 and equivalent industrial safety standards. Generous design headroom and the exclusive use of components with established reliability contribute to high MTBF. The unit is manufactured at our plant in Canada under strict quality control.
