The CTP 6K-48/600-2X3U7 is a 6kVA sine wave inverter designed for 600Vrms 3-phase applications that operate from a 48Vdc (42-60Vdc range) power source.

The CTP 6K-48/600-2X3U7 series modular DC-AC inverter system uses field-proven microprocessor-controlled technology to deliver up to 6,000VA output power with pure sine wave output voltage.
The inverter delivers a 3-phase continuous output of 600Vrms (L-L) from a 48Vdc input, 42-60Vdc operating range. The output neutrals are internally connected to chassis (GND) in “Y” configuration. Input modules convert the input voltage to an internal DC voltage, which feeds the DC-AC output module.
High frequency conversion enables compact construction and high efficiency. Remote shutdown or enable, and a Form C output fail alarm are available on request.
Rugged mechanical construction
The CTP 6K-48/600-2X3U7 is built with two 3U7 modules available for chassis-mount and 19″ rack-mount. The chassis-mount version, the 2X3U7, measures (6U) 10.5 x 17” x 15”, 267 x 432 x 382 mm. The rack-mount version, the 2X3U7/19, measures (6U) 10.5 x 19 x 15”, 267 x 483 x 382 mm. The interconnections between modules are made with cables with connectors.
Applications
The 3-Phase inverters are suitable for testing 3-phase equipment in engineering labs, powering motor-driven equipment, pumps, air conditioners, air compressors and other industrial equipment.
EMI, safety standards, electronic protection
The input and output are filtered for low noise. The input meets the requirements of EN 55032 Class A for conducted noise and radiated emissions with generous margins. Electronic protection includes inrush current limiting, reverse polarity protection, 2250Vdc input to chassis isolation, output current limiting with short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown with automatic recovery in case of insufficient cooling. The system meets UL 458 and EN 61010-1 and equivalent industrial standards.
Cooling
High quality built-in fans provide sufficient airflow for operation over a 0°C to +50°C temperature range without de-rating. The fans draw air into the unit, and exhaust at the terminal side of the unit. Wider temperature ranges are available on request.
