Wide EN50155 input ranges
The RSI 1K-HSA-F31 series is available with supply voltages of 36Vdc (25–51V range), 48Vdc (33-67V), 72Vdc (50-101V), 96Vdc (67-135V), 110Vdc (77-154V) or custom. A 24Vdc (17-34V) input version is available with derating to 750VA output power. The series offers a single sine wave output of 115Vac continuous at 60Hz or 400Hz, or 230Vac continuous at 50Hz. Custom output values are available on request. Efficiency at full load is typically 80%, depending on input voltage. An optional output-fail alarm (Form C) and remote shutdown or enable are available on request.
F31-HSA heatsink assembly with fins enable natural air convection cooling. This mechanical structure allows the unit to be mounted on uneven and thermally non-conductive surfaces. No fans or installation on a heat-sinking surface required.

The railway quality sine wave inverters meet the requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on railway rolling stock. They are suitable for a broad range of on-board and trackside infrastructure applications. Equipped with heavy filtering on the input and output, the units meet the requirements for EN50121-3-2 (EMI). The inverters also meet EN61000-4-2 (ESD), EN61000-4-3 (RF Immunity), EN61000-4-4 (Fast Transients), and EN61000-4-6 (Conducted Immunity). They meet C22.2 No. 107.1-01, UL 458 and EN/UL60950-1 and equivalent industrial safety standards.Comprehensive electronic protection
Protection features include 1500Vdc input-output isolation, reverse polarity protection, current limiting with short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown in case of insufficient cooling.Rugged mechanical construction
The F31 package with the attached HSA-F31 heatsink assembly measures 572 x 150 x 356 mm / 22.5” x 5.9″ x 14″ (W x H x L). The converters are ruggedized to withstand high levels of shock and vibration to IEC 61373 Cat 1 A&B.
