Railway 3-phase DC-AC inverters use microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology to generate 300VA sine wave output
The CTP 300R-F7 series railway DC-AC inverters with 3-phase pure sine output voltage are designed for railway applications. The 300VA units meet the stringent requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on rolling stock.
The railway DC-AC inverters deliver a 3-phase output of 208Vrms line-to-line at 60 or 400Hz. A 115Vrms phase-to-neutral output can also be used. The units operate from wide EN50155 input ranges of 17-34Vdc (24Vdc nom.), 25-51V (36Vdc nom.), 33-67V (48Vdc nom.), 50-101V (72Vdc nom.), 67-135Vdc (96Vdc nom.) or 77-154V (110Vdc nom.). Custom I/O options are available on request. New design topology and the use of microprocessor controlled high frequency PWM technology, the low profile units are more compact than previous 300VA versions and measure just 254 x 73 x 350.5 mm (W x H x L).
Equipped with heavy filtering on the input and output, the inverters comply with EN50121-3-2. They meet EN61000-4-2 (ESD), EN61000-4-3 (RF Immunity), EN61000-4-4 (Fast Transients), EN61000-4-6 (Conducted Immunity) and EN45545. Protection features include 1500Vdc input-output isolation, reverse polarity protection, overload protection, thermal protection and current limiting. A specially designed 3-phase controller module also contributes to the reliable operation of the unit.
